I have everything arranged for. Right after my ceremony we will celebrate at my house with a big party!! I guess it is an important date in my history and I don’t want to just go to bed that night!

It is true that the best way to be prepared for the multiple choice test is practice practice practice. I used to go to med school. every test is multiple choice the first two years. The practice was the one saving the year.

So focus in the practice section of the deal

I came here to my best friends parents house where I stayed 6 months. They were helping me to stand up on my own in Australia. I didn’t have the chance to meet much people. But I couldn’t avoid going out even with rain and admire the nature.Australia is a natural country!

Becoming a citizen eradicates the feeling of foreigner till a certain point. One cannot forget its roots. and with those roots comes accent while speaking, looks, heritage and so on.
It is common to find Australians that hang on to those details to make you feel a foreing.

But life is just like that. people come and go, some need to fly their countries. Some can stay forever.

@Monique: I don’t find it that ridiculous as you suggest. Why is it difficult to believe that people would meet each other upon a stressful situation? I think is more than possible.

I can use myself as an example, I meet a group of people from India and Pakistan that where studying together for the test retake. They even invited me to have dinner with them that night as a celebration.

I think that making friends in the test instance is a little ridiculous. You have 40 minutes to complete a test and you go home. Ypou don’t meet people there. is not a class room where you spend hours a week preparing for a test that will come at the end of the semester. I think that maybe the oath will be the place to meet people. You are all joined in a celebration that when it is complete you might have some branch or a cup of tea.

It will be a relief for me indeed. Felling you are not from here not from there either is something difficult to bare.
When you can’t go back to your country you rely on the good you might find in the new nation you approach. Always with respect and a feeling of gratitude. Thanks Australia!
